‘도토리 모으기’ 게임이 즐거우셨나요?

‘도토리 모으기’ 게임은 가을에 관한 단어를 배우고 계절에 따라 시골에서 볼 수 있는 곤충이나 동물들의 이름을 재미있게 배울 수 있게 해줍니다.

 ‘도토리 모으기’ 게임을 하고 난 후에는 부모님이 가을에 관해 좀더 설명을 해주시거나 자녀와 함께 ‘가을 박스’를 만들어 10월과 11월 무렵에 주변에서 볼 수 있는 사물들을 모아서 넣어 보세요.

또한 인터넷으로 가을에 관한 다른 영어 단어들을 찾아보고 그림 사전을 만들어 보는 것도 좋은 학습 방법입니다. 가을에 할 수 있는 활동에 관한 일기를 써보는 것도 좋겠지요!

Nut Hunt

You only have to look outside the window to see that autumn is well and truly here. Now is definitely the time to get out and about and enjoy the autumn colours before the chill of winter sets in.

When the kids get home from a day out in the fresh air, there’s no better way to have fun whilst learning English than playing a game of Nut Hunt.

Nut Hunt is set during the change from autumn to winter and features a troubled Sally Squirrel trying to find all the nuts she needs for the cold months ahead.

Players have to race against the clock to match words to pictures by turning over leaves and building up the squirrel’s store of food.

Why you should use it

This game is a great way of learning autumn language and finding out about some of the changes that the creatures of the countryside experience during the course of the year.

Once you’ve finished playing the game, you can add some comments on what autumn is like in Korea and what you can collect in the countryside at this time of year before making an autumn box containing things you might find in your area in October and November.

Children can then search the internet for other autumn words and build up a picture dictionary or perhaps write a diary of some of the things they do in the autumn months.
